30 Day Project- Day 5

(side note. this was suppose to post yesterday but apparently I haven't figured out scheduling a post like I thought that I had. So here's yesterdays topic and will post today's post a little later. oopsies!)



Today's Topic: Someone you would switch lives with for a day and why.



This one got me thinking quiet a bit about who I'd want to be, someone famous? someone rich? someone who changes the world? All sorts of people popped into my head and it sounded like it would be really fun to have endless resources to do whatever I wanted. I thought of historic people long dead and of people who are still alive. Then it hit me.

If I had a chance to switch lives with anyone I think I would want to take a peek into the inner workings of my husband. Sometimes it seems like we are on two different planes, that we think oppositely on many ideas. I would love to know what he's thinking and feeling. How he really feels about our little family. Ultimately I think that it would help our relationship if we each got to see what a normal day in the others life is like.

Yes, at first I selfishly thought that once he sees all that I go through "sitting around all day" that he may be more willing to help out around the house. But the more and more I thought about it I realized how much I would learn about him as well. He often complains that I don't get it or don't care. That I put him last in the family hierarchy, it would be nice to see it for myself. I don't often notice things that he then points out as a "wrong" to him. I'm wondering if I got to experience how he views things then I might be able to adjust my behavior. Don't get me wrong, he is treated pretty well around here but if there is a communication breakdown then this could be a good way to fix it. Plus, I would love for him to see how much I actually do for him and the family as he would be the one doing it for the day.


As much fun as it would be to be a complete stranger, famous or not, I think the best choice would to choose someone that would enrich your life. And who better than the one you're going to spend the rest of your life with?

Today's topic- Post your favorite song and write why you like it


This one is also a hard one for me, how can you pick just one song? There are SO many incredible songs out there that I feel like its impossible to pick. I could talk about my favorite Artist(s) but that's not the topic so I guess if I had to choose, I'd pick ONE of my favorites. It always seems to brighten my day and I get a smile on my face just thinking of the song. I find it to be up lifting and inspiring. Happiness is driving with the windows down on a sunny summer day listening to this song and so many more. So without further ado, here it is for your listening pleasure.
