30 Day Project- Day 3

Today's Topic: Write about your best friend

This topic is a little hard for me to write on since I feel like I could be writing about a few people on here. Also I do not have a BFF in the traditional sense. Sure, at one time I had one who was also a roomy and we did everything today. (I mean EVERYTHING people, we lived together, worked together, were pretty much joined at the hip) but then she meet a boy that would soon be her hubby and we had a stupid argument and neither one of us wanted to say "sorry" so we stopped being friends. It's all good now, one of us (pretty sure it was her) decided to stop being dumb and make the first move. So were back to being great friends but there was something damaged during that time that may always be damaged. I'm not too sure, we've really only be reunited for about a year or so. (this is also the part where I hope you now have "reunited and it feels so good" stuck in your head).

Then there is the hubby (yes, cheesy it may be but true) I would definitely consider him as a best friend. But then again I think that if you can't at least consider him on the list of besties then there might be something wrong. Hopefully I haven't offend everyone who didn't have their hubs on the list but really? Why would you married some one who wasn't like a best friend? Why wouldn't you want to spend your life with some one you could share everything with. And really isn't that the point of a best friend? To share all your secrets with? So yes, I could talk about how we've been dating for 10+ years and all the fun times. I could even talk about some of the not so fun times but really? That would probably just end up really sappy and who wants to read about that? LOL

Of course I could talk about my mum. Yes, I said mum, she is Canadian and that's what they are called up there. LOL. I seem to hang out with her the most (beside the hub/offspring) and we talk about pretty much everything. We've been close for the majority of my life, I say majority because there are patches in my memory where we weren't talking but they usually didn't last long. I am very lucky to have such a good relationship with my mom, heck with my entire family for that matter.  Here's where I could add in some words about my sister. Or my father, or brother. Or in any of my sister in laws. Or any of the other friends that I have that I wouldn't want to do without.

I guess I should just say that I have too many options to choose just one so I just leave it at the 3-ish and ask what about you? Are you the kind of person that has a few super close friends or do you have a bunch/handful of good friends? Could you choose just one person?

30 Day Project- Day 2

Today's topic- What was the last movie you watched, write about it

I went back and forth with myself about whether I should write about the last movie I saw in theaters or just the last movie in general. I decided to go with the literal and since I just watched a great movie last night I choose you, Pikachu.

The movie: The Holiday
Per Google Images

I had seen this movie on our channel guide a couple of times but never watched it thinking it was that Queen Latifah movie, Last Holiday, which nothing against the Queen but wasn't really my cup of tea the one time I saw a few minutes of it. So I usually skipped right past it on the guide and find something mind-numbing I'm sure. (aka... food network or HGTV).

Per Google Image
(Not sure how/why I decided these were the same movie. Perhaps I was delusional. IDK but whatev)

Anyways, one night I was home alone and I saw it pop up on the guide. I noticed this time that it had Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz in it so I was like "huh. that's not Queen Latifah" so I flipped on over to the channel and viola! great chick flick was to be found. But of course I was watching this in bed and ended up falling asleep. Drat!
A few days later I'm telling my mom about this movie and how I thought it was a different movie and blah blah and she's like. "oh ya, I have it. Great movie." so I borrow it and watch it and fall in love with this amazing movie!

Love, love the English countryside and what not. I'm not a huge Cameron fan but must admit I love Kate and her lovely accent.  I love the fake trailers that are in the movie. I love the idea of swapping homes and visiting a new place. I would totally do this if it weren't for the fact that it's probably not going to be Cameron/Kate on the other end of the exchange. With my luck it would be some creeper and I just don't want that in my house.Or they would use Google Images to make their hell hole look fabulous. You can't trust total strangers from the internet anymore, what has the world come too?!?   LOL

What's your favorite movie and/or something good you watch recently?
