So I read a blog lately were they committed to blogging every day and to help her keep it fresh and the ideas coming she found a "30 day project" where the topics were set out the topic before hand. One of my to-do items this year was to blog more so I thought it might be fun to give it a shot. So here goes....
Day One
List your Top 10 Pet Peeves
(side note- decided to list them in no particular order, just how they popped into my brain. Also talking about my pet peeves really seems to fire me up so there may be some choice language. I'll try to tone it back a bit but it's easy to get carried off on a tangent.)
~Waiting. I really really hate waiting for/on people. It drives me crazy when we have an agreed upon time to meet and you aren't there. I'll give you a little leeway given that traffic can vary from time to time and what not. This means 5-10 minutes tops people, not 20-30+ minutes. It absolutely kills me when I have to wait around waiting for you. As if I have nothing better to do then to sit around and wait for you to grace me with your presence. If you are going to be late, text. It's not that hard to look at a clock and say, "oh sh!t, I'm going to be late, better let so and so know".
~People with No Manners. How hard is it to say "please" or "thank you" or "excuse me"? Even worse is when you allow your kids to run wild and have no sense of decorum. People want to know what happened to our society and how kids today are little bastards.
~Loud Chewers. You are not a cow, you don't need to chomp your food/gum/whatever.
~Bad Drivers. This one runs the gamut from not using your blinker, to driving too slow, to tailgating and/or any number of rude/bad behavior that would not be allowed in Driver's Ed. If you would fail a driving test because of these actions then you shouldn't be behind the wheel.
~One Uppers. Everyone knows at least one of these people. You're telling a story and they've been there/done that. No matter what you are talking about they have an opinion on the matter. This one is pretty ironic to me since my husband has been known to do this. Drives me bonkers and I just wanna ring his neck when he starts the one-upped-ness (yes, that's a word). No, you do not know everything and yes, someone else may in fact have a better argument/valid point. Listen and Learn.
~Bra Straps. They never stay where they are suppose to. They move and fall and cause general annoyance daily. Also seeing said strap/bra in inappropriate situations. I don't care what color your bra is and think its kind of trashy to flash it all over the place.
~People Who Try to Put One Over On Me. I'm not dumb. I know you did something and all I want is for you to admit to it. I see this a lot with little kid, thinking they won't get in trouble if they deny it. When will people realize that lying only leads to more trouble?!?
~Commercials. This would also tie into things I love (aka DVR) but I can not watch a prime time show live anymore. I will literally wait 10-15 minutes into the recording so that I have "fast forwarding" time. It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't SO stupid. They pander to the lowest common denominator. Don't even get me started on commercials for kids, OMG they make me want to pull my hair out.
~Pee on the Public Toilet Seat. I mean honestly people. Why couldn't you A) pee in the bowl and B) wipe it up your own damn self. No one wants to sit on it and or wipe up someone else's pee.
~Judgers. Ok, so everyone judges at some point but what I'm talking about here are those who are mean about it. Those who let their judgments stop them from actually getting to know a person. The ones that sit back on the high horses and think they are superior to others. We have no idea where a person comes from or what they have been through. Judgments can me a useful tool but when used for bad instead of good that's when you tick me off.LOL
**If you like what you see come back tomorrow for another day of the 30 Day Project :)**

this kid may be obsessed
'Cause you've got to have spectators
Lining them up for the big race.
(and yes, your eyes do not deceive you, there are in fact 3 Lightening McQueens and 3 Chick Hicks)
2 The Kings and another 2 Lightening McQueens
(although those ones don't race because they are the Dinaco one and the Shiny Red paint one, they come in later)
And of course he needs to wear the appropriate shirt
You can't see it but CARS is playing in the background.
Yes, I think its save to say he may be a little obsessed
